Registration Frequently Asked Questions


General Co-Op Requirements

The following is a summary of the requirements for each family enrolled at Little Wonders. After enrollment, please refer to your Little Wonders Handbook for more detailed information.

PARTICIPATION AND ATTENDANCE
Little Wonders is a parent co-operative program. Your active participation is necessary for smooth operation of our program and school. Regular attendance of the parent or family member is necessary. Paid caregivers are welcome to attend with you and your child. Paid caregivers may only attend without you three (3) times per semester. If you need to miss a class on a day you are scheduled to supervise a station, it is your responsibility to ensure another parent covers your station. Please remember that your attendance allows you and your child to benefit from the school and helps you ensure the safety of the children.

PARENT'S TB CLEARANCE FORM
The parent or family member attending class must have a completed Form F - Parent's TB Clearance Form on file as required by State law. This and all other required forms must be submitted before attending class.

ANNUAL JOB
For school year applicants. Each family must select and carry out at minimum one 15 to 25 hour job per year. We recommend that you review the Little Wonders Job Descriptions prior to completing your on-line or paper application. Jobs have several components, and we hope you will find positions of interest that are a good match to both your personal skills and schedule. Do you want to be an individual contributor or work on a committee? Do you want to work steadily throughout the year or work on one event or task at a specific time of the year? Do you want to work at home during nap time or after bedtime? Can you do work with meetings in the evening or weekend? Do you have any professional skills or personal hobbies that you can contribute to our operations? If you have any questions, please contact our Jobs Chair at jobs@littlewonders.org. Additionally, if you are interested in committing more time to the success of Little Wonders than the required 15 to 25 hours, please contact the Jobs Chair at jobs@littlewonders.org to learn more about available pre-registration jobs. Families assigned to a pre-registration job will receive their first choice class for the Fall.

MAINTENANCE
Our school must be thoroughly cleaned each month to ensure the health and safety of our children. Each class is assigned a specific date for one two-hour Saturday school wash. If you are unable to complete this wash on your scheduled day, you may reschedule within 60 days or pay a $100.00 fee.
